I did not take nearly as many photos this day. Pretty sure it was the steady downhill  where we didn’t want to stop, the thought of sweet potato fries waiting for us in Fort Rock, and the mad gravel dash – leg burner back to the vehicles just like last year. We DID STOP AND EXPLORE A LAVA TUNNEL THO!

We DID manage to get some skinny dips in after we got back over the Cascades. It was well worth it.
